Cortez Cortez is a Belgian Neil Young Tribute Band formed in late 2013, with members Sven Vandermiers, Simon “Billy” Blanchaert, Tim “Ralphie” Martens, Steven “Poncho” Fauconier, and Bouke Cools joining in 2019. They are known for channeling the spirit of Neil Young and The Horse, performing at various events.
Cortez Cortez is Belgium's own Neil Young Tribute Band, forged in the triangle of Antwerp, Ghent and Waregem. The band formed in late 2013 and has been starring bars, festivals, weddings and other private parties since then, chanelling the spirit of Neil and The Horse. Beginning 2019, multi-instrumentalist Jan Oelbrandt (Dobrojean) agreed to join Cortez Cortez as a fifth member, adding pedal steel, lap steel and dobro sounds.
