Since 2017, KAAP is an art center formed from the merger of Vrijstaat O. (Oostende) and De Werf (Brugge). Its Ostend location sits on the seafront dike, in a building that is part of the Royal Stables designed by King Leopold II. KAAP covers music, live performance, literature and visual arts. It hosts jam sessions.
