Since 2013, Ile Aux Cointre has been open to the public as a park of over 1ha on Quai Blanqui in Alfortville. It was designed for several uses: sports facilities, benches for family picnics, and cultural events around its renovated amphitheatre. Every Saturday night it hosts dancing evenings, and sports workshops run through the summer. It also hosts jam sessions.
