Since 1997, De Noot has been a music café at 31 Hamseweg in Hoogland. It pairs an ordinary café, where people chat and play billiards, with a separate room for live bands. It hosts regular live concerts alongside jam sessions. Today it is run by its new owners, Bart van Lieshout and Larsse Vink.
