Since 2008, Casa da Horta has been a non-profit cultural and environmental association with a non-hierarchical structure, based in Porto's Ribeira district. It arose from the need to create alternative cultural programs in Porto, and its space includes a kitchen for vegan dishes, a library, and a free shop. Its programme brings together concerts, exhibitions, debates, workshops, and jam sessions.
