Since 2015, Boom Cafe has been a volunteer-run bar on Rue Pletinckx in the Dansaert neighbourhood of Brussels, pairing sustainable products with a solidarity commitment. Run entirely by volunteers on a non-profit basis, it operates through collective self-management. It hosts concerts and music workshops, alongside evenings with producers, documentary and book presentations, and workshops on sustainable food. Its premises are open free of charge to associations and collectives.
