Alternatibar

Since September 2016, Alternatibar is a house of alternatives and a bar in the pentes de la Croix Rousse, at 126 Montée de la Grande Côte in Lyon. It was founded on the initiative of the Alternatiba Rhône citizen collective, and is self-managed and financially independent. Its programme is dedicated to social and climate justice, hosting concerts, jam sessions, conferences, film screenings, and workshops. Bar revenues fund the Action Justice Climat Lyon collective.
